Reasons for a blog like this

We are not against football. We love it. We are against the new frame football has acquired in recent years.

That frame is strongly commercially centered. There are so much money involved that it creates strong incentives for corruption.

Footballers nowadays are becoming celebrities and under the media spotlight they are showing us a life of scandal. Off-field activities are becoming more important than the actual game. In the field the situation isn't better. Unsportsmanship has increased as the prizes get higher. Loyalty has gone.

There is a gap between the teams and the fans and that gap is getting bigger and bigger. We want this gap to be reduced and we're going for that.
